Congratulations to Dr. Brenda Knoll on her retirement. Yesterday, a celebration at the Knoll home brought together colleagues, friends, students, and family to honor her many accomplishments and lasting impact💚 Many thanks to Dr. Knoll!! Dr. Knoll was also awarded Advisor of the year by student senate!!

Recognizing Dr. Kerr for her years of service as she is preparing to retire at the end of May. She received a lei from Hawaii and was honored at a reception as well as an employee luncheon. Thank you Dr. Kerr for your many contributions to the School of Nursing and the university!💚

Senior Leadership students presented their Quality Improvement projects at each of our clinical partners, Carle BroMenn, OSF St. Joseph's, and Carle Foundation. We are so proud of the work they have done and very thankful for our amazing clinical partners! These students truly exemplify IWU nursing and represent us well!

Gonzalez Claims School Record as Track and Field Finds Success at Greenville Select - Illinois Wesleyan University Athletics GREENVILLE, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan University track and field teams picked up four individual wins, all in field events, Saturday, April 11 at the Greenville Select. In a successful day for IWU, 37 Titans set career-bests in their respective events.

Proud moments in our nursing lab! Our seniors are wrapping up their final skills module - blood administration. Here's a look at a few of them mastering their last major skill. We will miss seeing them in the lab but know the spring semester holds many opportunities to shore up all their skills before graduation in May 2026! *not everyone is pictured

Monica Salonga is a senior nursing student conducting research on mental healthcare in rural farm populations. We are providing a link to the anonymous survey in hopes that any farming families (age 18 and over) will take the survey. This survey asks questions about barriers, common knowledge, and factors that may help or prevent people from getting mental healthcare. We are doing this in partnership with the Illinois Farm Bureau, and our hope is to develop education and other programs to prevent su***de in this population.
