đź’š World Mental Health Day (Oct 10)
Today we celebrate progress - and the power of caring communities. At IU’s MSHM program, we believe great healthcare leaders lift people up. We practice coaching mindsets, reflection, and teamwork so well-being is part of how we learn and lead.
Small bright spots to try this week:
- Share one gratitude shout-out to a classmate, colleague, or partner.
- Take a 15-minute focus break—walk, breathe, stretch.
- Start huddles with a quick green / yellow check-in.
- Pass along a favorite campus well-being resource (link in comments).
Here’s to leading with empathy, clear boundaries, and optimism. Your energy and kindness ripple through our classrooms, projects, and partner organizations. 💚

🍎 Happy World Teachers’ Day (Oct 5)
Today we celebrate the educators who shape our community—faculty, adjuncts, preceptors, mentors, advisors, and staff across Indiana University. At MSHM, you model what great leadership looks like: curiosity, clarity, and compassion in action.
Three reasons we’re grateful:
- You turn theory into practice through real partner projects.
- You coach for growth, giving feedback that builds confidence and skill.
- You champion well-being and inclusion, making learning a place where everyone can thrive.
Thank you for helping our students become the healthcare leaders communities deserve. If a teacher made a difference in your life, tag them or share one lesson you still carry. đź’™
