Hello everyone! I'd like to announce that we now have two select speakers for our event in a couple weeks.

Chuck Horowitz is a professor of physics at IU and specializes in a variety of topics in theoretical nuclear astrophysics.

Vaclav Pavlik is a visiting postdoc also at IU and primarily focuses his research on stellar dynamics, particularly in star clusters.

We will also be having an opening talk giving an overview of the biggest news stories in astronomy over the past year. There has been a lot of good science going on since COVID started and you definitely don't want to miss this!
