"Heather has helped create plans for the past several weeks to assist the long term substitute, mentored the long term substitute, created multiple schedules for our students and Para professionals as we have been short staffed and changes to the bell schedule continue to change. She has taken on an extra caseload while the other lead is on maternity leave and has handled it all with grace. She is a great teacher and leader and deserves this MCPIE award."
