The school year has ended, but this beautiful image in our counseling office still remains. It started with one student and one drawing — and grew throughout the year as students added to it, one drawing at a time.
What a beautiful reminder of the impact one person can make and the creativity our students share with the world.

We are celebrating the hard work and growth of our K–4 students in the reading intervention program! Students showed incredible progress:
📚 100% of students increased their reading assessment scores
✏️ 100% of students increased their spelling assessment scores
📖 100% of students increased their oral reading fluency on grade-level text
⭐ Students increased their grade-level reading fluency by an average of 30 words per minute
Through one-on-one and small group support, students built important reading, spelling, and writing skills. We are so proud of their effort, perseverance, and growth!
Thank you to our families for partnering with us and encouraging reading at home. This progress is a beautiful example of what happens when school and home work together!

Today we had a special visit from Mr. Ken Stack, a former Nativity teacher and coach! Mr. Stack taught 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and English, and also coached basketball and baseball during his time at Nativity. We are so grateful for the teachers, coaches, and mentors who have helped shape our Nativity community over the years. Once a Knight, always a Knight! Thanks for visiting!

What a fun last day of school! The weather cooperated, the outdoor activities were a hit, and our students had a wonderful time celebrating together.
Thank you to the Men’s Club for providing lunch and to all of the volunteers who helped make the day so special.
Have a great summer, Knights!

As the school year wraps up, our teachers are keeping learning fun! From ice cream for multiplication facts, to glow day bingo games, to a sandwich-making experiment that tested communication skills, our classrooms are full of creative learning.
Thank you, teachers, for making every day meaningful and fun — and thank you to our students for staying engaged, curious, and ready to learn right up to the final days of school!

We celebrated our 8th graders on their last day of school with a special clap-out, followed by their Graduation Mass and reception! Former Nativity teachers even came back to celebrate with their past students — a beautiful reminder of how special this community is. We love our Nativity family!
We are so proud of this class and can’t wait to see what God has planned for them next. Once a Knight, always a Knight — you are officially alumni!

We are proud to celebrate our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Rebecca Kasallis, who was nominated for the CSCOE Saintly Service Halo Award in honor of St. John Baptist de La Salle.
This award recognizes perseverance and reminds us that lasting impact doesn’t always come from quick success, but from faithful, steady commitment over time. Her dedication, care, and quiet strength are a blessing to Nativity.
Thank you, Mrs. Kasallis, for the many ways you serve our students, staff, and families. Thank you for leading with light each day!

Our students have been on the move this month with field trips and retreats to the History Center, Ordway, Camp Ihduhapi, Nickelodeon Universe, Chicago, MIA, and more! These experiences bring learning to life, build friendships, and create lasting memories as we wrap up another wonderful school year. We love seeing our students learn, grow, and experience the world around them!
