Today is a bittersweet day at Compass Early Learning Center as we say goodbye to our graduates! 🎓💙

While not everyone is pictured, today marks the last day at Compass for an amazing group of children who are ready for their next adventure—kindergarten! Watching them grow from curious little learners into confident, capable children has been one of our greatest joys.

Some of these graduates have been part of the Compass family for more than four years, making today especially emotional for both our staff and their families. We have celebrated countless milestones together, and we are so grateful to have been part of their early learning journey.

To our graduates: We are incredibly proud of you! Keep being kind, curious, and brave as you begin this exciting new chapter. You'll always have a special place in our hearts, and you'll always be part of the Compass family. ❤️🧭🍎

🐞🐝 Last week, the Seahorse Classroom was buzzing with excitement during their bug study! The children worked together to create a beehive piñata, carefully painting it brown as they learned more about bees and their important role in nature.

A very special thank you to one of our Seahorse families for bringing in hissing cockroaches for the children to observe and learn about up close! Hands-on experiences like these spark curiosity, encourage questions, and help children develop a greater appreciation for the incredible world of insects.

We are so grateful for the families who help make learning come alive. Thank you for being such an important part of our Compass community! 🐜🪲💛

When the weather is hot, humid, or the air quality isn't ideal, the fun doesn't stop in our Sea Turtle Classroom! 🐢💙

Our teachers get creative by bringing gross motor activities indoors so children can keep moving while staying safe and comfortable. Whether they're jumping, balancing, dancing, or playing active games with friends, they're building coordination, strength, balance, and teamwork—all while having a blast!

Staying active is an important part of every day! 🌧️☀️💚

Our Puffin Classroom had a wonderful time exploring through play last week! 💙🐧

From painting colorful masterpieces to squishing and swirling shaving cream and splashing during water play, our toddlers stayed busy engaging their senses and building important developmental skills.

These hands-on experiences help strengthen fine motor skills, encourage creativity, support language development, and give children opportunities to explore different textures and materials in a fun, meaningful way. We love watching our youngest learners discover the world around them through play! 🎨💦✨

Last week, our Penguin Classroom was busy exploring, creating, and discovering! 🐧🧪🎨

Our preschoolers dove into hands-on learning through sensory play and science investigations. They practiced fine motor skills by using pipettes to mix and transfer colorful water, explored different textures and creativity with shaving cream, and kicked off an exciting science experiment by placing eggs in vinegar to see what happens as the shell begins to dissolve.

These activities encourage children to ask questions, make predictions, strengthen hand muscles needed for writing, and learn through play—all while having so much fun!

We can't wait to share the results of our egg experiment! 🥚🔬✨
