🏈 **7TH & 8TH GRADE FLAG FOOTBALL GAME!** 🏈

We’re excited to give our **7th and 8th grade students an opportunity to experience football this year** with a special flag football game during Homecoming Week!

This opportunity is open to **ALL 7th and 8th graders**, regardless of previous football experience. Whether you've played football before or have never played a snap, this is a chance to learn the game, get on the field, have fun, and experience football in a welcoming environment.

**No experience necessary. No need to be an expert. Just come out and give it a try!**

Due to today’s half day of school, please note the following schedule changes:

🏐 **Volleyball**
• MS game & practice — CANCELED
• JV practice — CANCELED
• Varsity practice — 4:00 PM

🏃 **Cross Country**
• MS & HS practice — Immediately after school

🏈 **Football**
• MS & HS practice — Immediately after school

📣 **Cheer**
• MS & HS practice — CANCELED

⚽ **Soccer**
• Varsity Boys game — **ON AS SCHEDULED**
• Players report to the locker room by 3:30 PM

⚽ Cardinals Cruise Past Bangor, 6-1

The Bloomingdale Varsity Boys Soccer team put together an impressive performance Monday night under the lights at Cardinal Stadium, defeating conference rival Bangor 6-1.

The Cardinals came out with energy from the opening whistle and never let up, controlling the game with strong teamwork, smart passing, and relentless pressure.

Defensively, Ryan Pop was outstanding in goal, recording six saves and coming up with several big stops to keep Bangor off the scoreboard. Joe Rodriguez also made a huge impact with a key defensive save, helping anchor a Cardinal defense that was tough to break down.

Offensively, Adrian Pop led the way with a spectacular four-goal performance, consistently finding ways to create scoring opportunities and finish them. Aiden Byers and Diego Estrada each added a goal to round out the scoring.

It was a complete team effort from the Cardinals, with contributions throughout the lineup and a level of intensity that made for an exciting night at Cardinal Stadium.

Great job, Cardinals! Keep it rolling! 🔴⚪⚽

🏐 Cardinals Finish 3rd in Pool at Allegan Invitational!

The Cardinals battled hard against Allegan and Dowagiac before bouncing back with a consolation win over Gobles! 💪

Kim, Emily, and Kyleigh led the way serving, while Evalyn, Taylor, and LaNiyah were aggressive at the net. Kim and Alyssa led the back row with strong passing.

The girls showed great effort, competed with confidence, and continued to grow throughout the day. We’re proud of their fight and improvement!

The Varsity Boys Soccer team opened the season at the David Ni Memorial Westside Shootout!

🔴 Bloomingdale 0, North Muskegon 3
Despite the loss, the Cardinals played tough against a perennial Division 4 contender. Ryan Pop made an incredible 15 saves!

🔴 Bloomingdale 5, Marcellus Howardsville Christian 1
The Cardinals bounced back in a big way! Adrian Pop scored all 5 goals in the victory, with Diego Estrada and Moises Perales adding assists. Ryan Pop added 10 more saves.

Cardinals Open Football Season With a Win!

The Bloomingdale football team opened the season with a strong road victory at Fennville!

Cameron Wilson got the Cardinals started with a touchdown on the opening kickoff. Bloomingdale led 14–0 at halftime and finished the game with a strong defensive performance, allowing just eight points.

Elliott Goudzwaard had an impressive debut with six tackles and two interceptions, including a pick-six. Abel Gonzalez added five tackles and a sack, while Cooper Parsley had a key fumble recovery late in the fourth quarter to help seal the win.

Congratulations to the Cardinals on a great season opener!

Bloomingdale returns home next Wednesday to take on New Buffalo at Cardinal Stadium. Come out and support your Cardinals!

The Cardinal cross country teams opened their season at the Bridgman Invite last night. The boys team finished 5th out of 11 school and the girls were 4th. Standout performances were Natalie Garcia running a PR, James Odell and Alejandro Marquez were medalists for the boys and Janet Andrade, Rebekah Youngblood and Lucy Salazar brought home medals for the girls.
