HALF DAY OF SCHOOL – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

Due to the extreme heat forecast for tomorrow and the high temperatures we are already experiencing inside our classrooms, Bloomingdale Public Schools will have a half day of school tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2.

Dismissal time for Middle/High School – 11:10 a.m.

With temperatures expected to climb further tomorrow, we believe an early dismissal is the appropriate decision for the health and comfort of our students and staff.

Thank you to our families and staff for your understanding and flexibility.

Les habla el Director Lukes con un recordatorio amistoso de que mañana, viernes 28 de agosto, no habrá clases. ¡Eso significa que nuestros estudiantes disfrutarán de un fin de semana de tres días! 🎉

📅 Las clases se reanudarán el lunes 31 de agosto en nuestro horario habitual.

¡Nuestra primera semana del año escolar 2026–2027 ya está oficialmente completa! Gracias a nuestros estudiantes, familias y personal por ayudarnos a tener un excelente comienzo del año escolar.

📣 No School Tomorrow – Three-Day Weekend!

Good evening, Bloomingdale Middle and High School Families!
This is Principal Lukes with a friendly reminder that school will not be in session tomorrow, Friday, August 28th. That means our students will enjoy a three-day weekend! 🎉

📅 School will be back in session on Monday, August 31st at our regular time.

Our first week of the 2026–2027 school year is officially in the books! Thank you to our students, families, and staff for helping us have a great start to the school year.

📣 Open House Reminder – Tomorrow Evening!

This is a friendly reminder that our Open House is tomorrow evening from 5:30–7:00 p.m.

📍 All students and families should enter through the High School entrance. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by staff at our welcome tables who will be ready to assist you.

Open House is a great opportunity for our school and families to connect, build partnerships, and work together to support student learning and help our Cardinals have a successful start to the new school year!

We are excited to welcome everyone back and look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening!

📣 ¡Recordatorio de la Jornada de Puertas Abiertas – Mañana por la Tarde!

¡Hola, familias de Bloomingdale Middle and High School!

Este es un recordatorio amistoso de que nuestra Jornada de Puertas Abiertas será mañana por la tarde de 5:30 a 7:00 p.m.

📍 Todos los estudiantes y las familias deben entrar por la entrada de la escuela secundaria. Al llegar, serán recibidos por miembros del personal en nuestras mesas de bienvenida, quienes estarán listos para ayudarlos.

¡La Jornada de Puertas Abiertas es una excelente oportunidad para que nuestra escuela y las familias se conecten, establezcan relaciones sólidas y trabajen juntas para apoyar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes y ayudar a nuestros Cardinals a tener un comienzo exitoso del nuevo año escolar!
