Got some new toys in the mail today from . This steel was purchased through fundraising by the Indian Hills Action Shooting Club to use for practice and matches. Challenge targets was great to work with and even called me on a Sunday night to make sure my order was right and we had everything we needed. Customer service was excellent and my shooters can't wait to ring some steel.

Spent the last week at taking their 250 course. It was a great time with great people and some amazing instructors. Jerrod Bough, Chris Currie, Brian Dekind and John Hutchison did a great job presenting the modern technique of the pistol. I was also honored to receive an Expert rating for the class, which is the highest rating that can be achieved, along with a 24 carat gold raven. Many thanks to the fine people at Gunsite and the Jeff Cooper Legacy Foundation for providing me this opportunity.

After SHOT show my Sheriffs office requested an SCS from Holosun for testing and we have been putting it through the paces for a couple of months. I have been extremely impressed with this rds. The direct mount to the G***k worked amazing and allowed for use of the standard height sights that came with the gun. The auto adjust works as advertised however I would like it one or two brightness settings higher when it is in complete darkness. Not that I'm going to shoot anything in complete darkness but it would make the auto adjust work faster going from complete dark to light in my opinion. The charging system has also been flawless in my short time with it. All in all I have been ver impressed with this unit and we will be ordering several for my agency when they become available. ***k

2022 Iowa State IDPA. Pushed hard on the right hand side of the stage and pulled out the down zeros on the drop turn. Made for a fast stage with just under 18 seconds raw time. ***kinc

The 2022 Iowa State IDPA Match is in the books. Overall it was a great match and I brought home SSP Division Champion and High Law Enforcement. ***kinc
