Students in grades 6โ12 wowed the audience during our Spring Concert! The evening opened with the BZZZ Drumline and Feeling Good, a favorite from our Black History Month Showcase.
We celebrated outstanding 6th-grade band students, enjoyed a special solo by Avyah Moralesโrecently selected for the Dragon Bandโand were treated to an unforgettable laser sword duel between our guest conductor and Mrs. Campbell. โ๏ธ
The Choir delivered beautiful performances of What Was I Made For?, Bound for Glory, and First Burn, and the Band closed the night with our Fight Song.

Our 6th graders had an incredible experience on Wednesday visiting the Institute of American Indian Studies! Students explored the rich history and culture of Indigenous peoples in Connecticut, learning about stereotypes, the deep Native American lineage in our state, and the tribes that are still present in CT today.
Through hands-on experiences, students explored a typical village, learned about daily life, and even created and brought home their own pottery pieces! It was an engaging and meaningful day filled with learning, creativity, and cultural appreciation.
Thank you to the Institute of American Indian Studies for such an unforgettable experience! ๐๐บโจ
