Our FFA students recently competed in the South Central Envirothon Contest, testing their knowledge of the environment in several challenging areas: Forestry, Aquatics, Soil and Land Use, Wildlife, and the Current Issue of Pollution. 🌎🌿

Through teamwork and strong problem-solving skills, they earned the 4th highest overall score at the competition. We are proud of their hard work and dedication to learning about environmental conservation! 👏

Thank you to all the ffa members, helpers, and parents who helped make this event possible! Everyone had a great time!

Good luck to our team competing in the Indiana Envirothon Contest today!
Subject areas are:
- Soil & Land Use
- Aquatic Ecology
- Wildlife
- Forestry
- Current Issues: Pollution

They get the chance to listen to industry professionals discuss the topics prior to testing. The Eastern Greene FFA members are interacting with the professionals, asking questions and not shying away from taking front row seats to the presentations!

These FFA members sure had a great time! Many networked with future employers, many enjoyed the equipment, and many enjoyed each others company.
