Happy thanksgiving !!
Bird hunting has been a tradition in my family since I was a child. hope some of you got out this morning .

November will be our last meeting of 2023. All are welcome

Most long time hunters would agree that The biggest misconception about the sport is that it’s all about killing an animal. Those of us that have been doing this for decades know it’s about so much more. A friends son harvested his first bear this year, when he couldn’t find the animal he called me. I’ve been taking this kid in the field since he’s about 14 yrs old. As a college student , he called and a bunch of us rhat have been teaching home over the years, went to help track and recover his bear. The next day I helped him cape and break down this animal. As a thank you he gave me this bottle opener and I thought it needed a home. The thought was nice, the display may be a bit hookie, and while the recovery was memorable, the gift and story together made memories that are priceless.
And thats why we do it…..

Coyotes are fair game incidental to deer hunting.
Their management is important to the states eco system and are extremely challenging to take with the bow.. photo in the comments
