💜💛 Congratulations to our September Students of the Month! 🐾

September’s Wildcat Way character trait was self-awareness—recognizing our feelings, understanding our strengths and areas for growth, and knowing how our choices affect others.

These Wildcats set a wonderful example and make our school a better place! We’re proud of who they are and the positive difference they make at BMS. Keep shining, Wildcats! 🌟

Our Wildcats are putting their learning into action! 💜💛

📝 Mrs. Battles’ students worked in groups to build stories with sentence strips—looking for transition words as clues to sequence events! Then, they explored similes and metaphors through fun songs. 🎶

🔎 Mrs. Clary’s students partnered up to explore different characters’ points of view and cite evidence to support their thinking.

🥄 Ms. Weathers’ students reviewed cell organelles with a fun game of Spoons!

Teamwork, creative activities, and plenty of thinking—great ways to make learning stick! 🐾

💜💛 A great day for our Wildcats at the Notre Dame Invitational!

All of our runners had a great day, and the encouraging spirit of this team made it even better. Seeing teammates cheer each other on and push one another to do their best is what makes this team special!

🏅 Congratulations to our three medalists:
• Cason Karnes — 16th place
• Brody Conner — 17th place
• Paisley Tanner — 20th place

Proud of every runner’s effort and the way they show up for each other! 🐾

💜🐾 Student voices matter at BMS!

Our Student Council members met with Mrs. Karnes on Thursday to share ideas and help plan our quarterly Wildcat Rewards! They did a fantastic job representing the student body and suggesting fun ways to celebrate students’ efforts. 💛

Students can earn the Wildcat Reward each quarter by:

✅ Missing two days or fewer
✅ Having no office discipline referrals
✅ Earning no grades below a C- on their report card

We’re proud of these student leaders for sharing their ideas and helping make BMS a place where students have a voice! 🐾

Mrs. Vance’s class is reading Charlotte’s Web and had their very own fair day - complete with caramel apples, corn dogs, creating banners, and games!

Mrs. Battles didn’t let the canceled field trip ruin the day- her students went on a virtual field trip and had some fun with We Will Write!

Our teachers are the BEST! 💜💛

❤️🖤💚💙 Our first house meetings of the year were full of connection, teamwork, and leadership!

Our house leaders did an incredible job leading small groups through get-to-know-you activities, team-building challenges, and lessons about responsibility—our Wildcat Way character trait for October!

We’re proud of our leaders for connecting with house members, helping everyone feel included, and setting great examples of character in our school. Great job, leaders! 🐾
