🛠️ Whether it’s painting, drilling, fixing toilets or floors, our fearless fixit helper, Mr John, has never met an issue he can’t overcome!
This root was sticking up in our back playground today and Mr John went right to work on it. That root didn’t stand a chance!
🙏We are thankful for our helpers and support team who keep us safe at all times!
✨ A Thoughtful Start to the Day, A Gentle Start to Literacy
Each morning, our Transition 2’s children begin by checking in on the visual board—building independence, awareness, and a sense of belonging as they ease into their day.
In the second half of the year, we gently introduce our phonics program through sounds, visual cues, and movement—keeping learning light, sensory-rich, and engaging.
Our entire reading system is intentionally repeated each year, allowing each child to connect, decode, and grow at their own pace.
Confident routines and joyful exposure lay the foundation for early literacy 🤍

From our youngest infants to our oldest 5-year-olds, every child at Foundations Prep School created a piece for this year’s Art Show.
Through paint, texture, and imagination, each artist shared their creativity and growth in their own unique way.

🦷 Healthy Habits Start Early!
This week at Foundations Prep School, we welcomed members of our local dental team who visited the classrooms to talk with the children about caring for their teeth. Through conversation and demonstrations, the students learned about brushing, healthy habits, and keeping their smiles strong.
The visit ended with a special gift for each child to take home—encouraging these healthy routines to continue beyond the classroom.

✨ Movement, Joy, and Physical Development in Motion!
For our 3-year-olds, gross motor time isn’t just fun—it’s essential. Dancing to favorite songs, moving with scarves, and sharing in the energy of the group supports coordination, rhythm, and body awareness.
These joyful moments also build confidence, creativity, and connection as children move, express, and enjoy each other together.
Learning isn’t always seated—sometimes it’s dancing freely and fully 🤍
