❤️ Will You Partner With a Nizhóní Christian Academy Student This Year?

As we begin the 2026–27 school year, we are looking for individuals, families, churches, Sunday school classes, and groups who would like to partner with our students through sponsorship.

Families at Nizhóní Christian Academy pay only a small initial school fee. Sponsors and donors help make the rest of the school experience possible throughout the year.

Student sponsorship helps support things such as:

📚 Curriculum and educational materials
💻 Technology and student resources
✏️ Classroom and school supplies
🍎 Meals and everyday school needs
🚌 Activities and field trips
👩‍🏫 The staff who serve our students

Sponsorship is more than helping provide school materials. It is an opportunity to walk alongside a student and the ministry of Nizhóní Christian Academy throughout the school year.

📣 MANDATORY Parent-Teacher Conference — Nizhóní Christian Academy

Parents & Guardians,

Our mandatory Back-to-School Parent-Teacher Conference will be:

📅 Thursday, August 27
🕙 10:00 AM
📍 Navajo BIC Mission Chapel

School begins Monday, August 31, and this meeting is an important part of making sure families, teachers, and students are ready to begin the year together.

We will be sharing important information about:

* school expectations
* parent-teacher communication
* curriculum
* student needs
* school policies
* important updates for the 2026–27 school year

A parent or guardian from each family is expected to attend.

We want everyone to begin the year knowing what to expect, how to stay connected, and how we can work together to support our students.

🎒 Back-to-School Bash at Nizhóní Christian Academy!

We are so thankful for everyone who helped make our Back-to-School Bash possible! From donated supplies to prayers, encouragement, and practical support, you helped our students prepare for another year of learning.

Now the countdown is officially on — school begins Monday, August 31! 📚

We are excited to welcome our students back and begin another year of growing, learning, and walking together.

🎄 Christmas in… wait… July?!

Why not? 😊

As we’ve been looking back on this past school year, I finally managed to put together a video from our students’ Christmas play. Fair warning… the videographer (me 😅) was still learning, so the quality isn’t Hollywood. But the message is what matters.

It was such a joy to watch our students tell the story of Jesus’ birth and remind us that the hope of Christmas isn’t something we celebrate only in December. It’s something we carry with us all year long.

As June comes to a close, we are looking back with grateful hearts on the school year that ended in May at Nízhóní Christian Academy.

We remember the nervous joy of the first days and the laughter that filled the Fall Festival. We remember students finding their voices at Christmas and growing through the steady rhythm of everyday school life. In so many small ways, God was faithful to our school this year.

Thank you for walking with us. We look ahead with hope.

🎉 Celebrating a Year of Growth 🎉

As we look back on the end of the school year, we thank God for each student who successfully completed another grade level and for those who reached the milestone of graduation.

Our Promotion and Graduation Celebration was a joyful time to recognize the hard work, growth, and perseverance of our students throughout the year. Thank you to the families, staff, churches, and supporters who make Christian education at Nizhóní Christian Academy possible.

Please continue to pray for our students as they prepare for the year ahead.

🎉 School Update & January Reminders ❄️
🎆 Happy New Year to all our families and followers of the school! We are grateful for your continued support and look forward to what this new year will bring.
🎄 We had a very successful Christmas Party on December 20, 2025. The children did a wonderful job, and we are so proud of them. A video of the Christmas play will be shared soon.
📚 Classes resumed on Monday, January 5, 2026, and students were happy to be back. They also enjoyed a snow day on Thursday, January 8 ❄️
📅 Upcoming reminders:
• No school on Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, January 22nd
– No school for students that day
– Parents are asked to please schedule an appointment for conferences
– Because there is no school, there will also be no Youth Night on January 22nd
