Wigwam Daycare and Preschool School is looking for caring, energetic, creative, patient and dependable people to join our family! If you enjoy the arts, or like being creative; then this is the job for you! It provides daily opportunities for art, math, music, reading and more; all while working with a fun, and energetic team of teachers! We believe our team and child care families are a family network and treat them as such. We hope to educate, enrich, and provide QUALITY care for all of our children (and lots of fun too!)
CRP & FIRST AID, mandatory reporting, and training will be required after hiring.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY; AND BE AVAILABLE FOR POTENTIAL HOURS FROM 6:00 AM TO 5:00 PM.
This teacher would work in a classroom with ages ranging from infant- 5 years Monday-Friday each week . It is a guaranteed 32-40 hours a week. Please see the note above as this position is required to be available during these times.
Each teacher will:
Supervise the play and structured activities of children age 6 weeks to 12 years
Encourage the intellectual, creative, motor, and emotional development of the children by being a positive role model.
Care for the physical needs of the children. Preparing and serving meals, potting, changing diapers, and always maintaining the safety of the environment.
Each teacher will work any necessary hours to complete tasks delegated to her/him within the time frame agreed upon when tasks are assigned.
