Saint Thomas the Apostle School is an Archdiocese of Newark parish elementary school of 320 students from pre-kindergarten through grade 8, located in Bloomfield, New Jersey. We thrive upon a family and school partnership. Our faculty relies on the family as the primary educator, an educator with a daily and cooperative role. At Saint Thomas the Apostle School, our mission is to provide students with a challenging and comprehensive education integrating spiritual values rooted in the Roman Catholic tradition. We cultivate and herald the growth of our students in mind, body, and spirit, preparing them to take their place in the Church and in the world, in roles of leadership and service. Philosphy

•We guide our students to grow in faith and knowledge in a God-centered environment, instilling the moral values necessary to enable our children to lead good Christian lives.

Woo Hoo!! We are thrilled to announce that St. Thomas the Apostle School has been awarded the distinguished “Best of Essex” Gold Medal for Best Private Elementary School in Essex County for 2024!

This incredible recognition sets us apart from other schools of choice and also reflects our commitment to excellence in education. This prestigious award also reflects the hard work of our talented students, dedicated staff, and supportive STA community. As an outstanding learning community, St. Thomas the Apostle School is proud to continue our important work - to prepare future leaders who will go on to make a difference in the world.
