🐾💙 What an amazing first day back for our Watsessing staff!

We kicked off the year with an incredible district Convocation at BHS, followed by a wonderful Kindergarten Playdate where we got to welcome some of our newest Wildcats! 🐾

Back at Watsessing, our teachers have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on their classrooms and creating welcoming spaces for our students.

The energy is high, the classrooms look amazing, and we are READY! We can’t wait to welcome our Wildcats today! 💙📚✨

We were proud to support Professor Joyce Kazoun at tonight’s Bloomfield Board of Education meeting as she shared the incredible impact of her work as Professor in Residence at Watsessing and Berkeley through our partnership with William Paterson University.

Her collaboration with our staff has strengthened instruction, supported teacher growth, and created meaningful learning experiences for our students. We are incredibly grateful for Professor Kazoun’s dedication and for the outstanding partnership with William Paterson University. Thank you for investing in our schools!

It is especially fitting that his journey began right here at Watsessing School before leading and serving our district in so many capacities over the decades. His commitment to students, staff, families, and the Bloomfield community has left a lasting impact that will be felt for generations.
