Summer is in!
The Mothersโ€™ Club prepared another delicious Faculty and Staff End of Year picnic with some aloha vibes~ The Lil Bros food truck prepared burgers, hotdogs and fries for lunch, and we had some fruit and cake for dessert. And to thank the faculty and staff for another great year, we offered small gifts with pineapples.

Last week, our amazing Mothersโ€™s Club outdid themselves again during Faculty and Staff Appreciation Week!
A HUGE SHOUTOUT to Heather M. for arranging every special treat each day!

Monday morning, the faculty and staff feasted on breakfast burritos and oj. ๐ŸŒฏ๐Ÿงƒ
On Tuesday, they had barista cart who made all sorts of coffee drinks. She even had special Brother Rice themed ones that were so yummy. And it didnโ€™t stop there, the cookies that families donated were devoured too! โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿช
Wednesday was Beyond Juice day, but the teachers got spoiled with two days of smoothies on Tuesday and Friday instead! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹
And Thursday was the day to feast!! Our wonderful MC Luncheon chairs, Eva S. and Andrea S. had a delicious Polish meal including kolackzis catered all the way from Hamtramck! YUM!! ๐Ÿคค
Finally on Friday, the fantastic raffle was drawn and the lucky winners took home some amazing prize baskets! They also received special notes that students wrote. ๐ŸชŽ๐Ÿ“

Overall, I think itโ€™s safe to say the faculty and staff had a pretty good Appreciation Week! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค

Today, the Mothersโ€™ Club had our final event to conclude another successful year. Our annual Mothersโ€™ Club Luncheon was held at the Community House in Birmingham to celebrate all our lovely mothers at Brother Rice.

Our amazing MC President Mindy gave a heartfelt speech praising the Senior moms on guiding their fine young men for the past four years at Brother Rice and bidding them farewells along with a huge welcome to the incoming Freshman moms. All mixed emotions were felt by all the moms in the room!

And we thanked all the amazing Chairs of the Mothersโ€™ Club events throughout the year with small tokens of appreciation.

But the BIGGEST SHOUTOUTS were to Katie I. and Annie S. for organizing todayโ€™s beautiful luncheon. THANK YOU!!!

And we concluded with our traditional Senior momโ€™s photo in front of the Community House.
