Our students have been busy exploring, experimenting, and deepening their understanding of science!

▪️AP Biology: Students are investigating how temperature and pH affect catalase activity.
▪️Honors Biology: Students are using agar cubes as models of cells to explore how the surface area-to-volume ratio impacts diffusion.
▪️Honors Anatomy & Physiology: Students are continuing their study of the axial skeleton, focusing on the vertebrae, thoracic cage, and sacrum.

We love seeing our students engage in hands-on learning, ask questions, and make connections between scientific concepts and the world around them!

CHSL 100 Years | Memory Monday

Throughout Brother Rice's rich history and tradition, countless memories have been made as part of the Catholic High School League.

While championships, rivalries, and unforgettable moments have helped shape our school's history, it is the men who established our traditions and those who continue to carry on the Brotherhood today who are the cornerstone of our greatest memories.

As we celebrate 100 years of the CHSL, we are grateful for the opportunities, relationships, and lifelong memories that have helped make Brother Rice what it is today.

Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior! 🧡🖤

It was a homecoming on the courts as Warrior Tennis recently hosted its annual Alumni Scrimmage at the BAC! Great to see so many of our brothers return to reconnect, compete, and celebrate the brotherhood that lasts long after graduation.

Homecoming Weekend is in full swing! 🧡🖤

Following last night’s spirited Homecoming tailgate, the celebration continued today as we welcomed Brother Rice and Marian alumni and their families back to campus for our Family Fun Day!

From pony rides and a petting zoo to 3D printing, video games, VR experiences, face painting, basketball, and a delicious lunch courtesy of the Warrior Grilling Club, there was something for everyone! Even Gemma, our Warrior therapy dog, joined the fun!

Beautiful fall weather, live music from our talented Warrior jazz musicians, and plenty of familiar faces made for a wonderful day of family, friendship, and memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

And the celebration isn't over yet! Tonight, we look forward to welcoming alumni from the Classes of 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, and 2021 back to celebrate their milestone reunions!

STATE CHAMPIONS!

Congratulations to Dylan Fisher and Sam Dimerman, who captured the MHSAA Division 1 State Championship at 3 Doubles with an incredible 6-7, 6-1, 7-5 victory over Bloomfield Hills!

The Warriors also finished as MHSAA Division 1 Team State Runner-Up, capping off a tremendous season.

Additional outstanding finishes included:

Waechter and Mansfield, State Runner-Up at 1 Doubles

Mojares and Kennedy, Semifinalists at 2 Doubles

What a season for Brother Rice Tennis. Warrior proud!

A little planning, a lot of Warrior spirit, and something fun on the horizon! 🧡🖤

Our Band of Brothers student leaders, Noah, Finn, and Myles, met with Mrs. Reid to get the ball rolling on this year’s raffle! More than just a fundraiser, it’s a FUN opportunity for our Warriors to lead by example, give back, and show pride in their school.

And while the exciting details are still under wraps, one thing is certain: these Warriors are ready to make it a GREAT year! Stay tuned… good things are coming!

Today, our faculty and staff were treated to a delicious Chaldean lunch, a fun raffle, and so much Warrior mom hospitality! We are incredibly grateful to these amazing moms for their generosity, thoughtfulness, and for taking the time to make our day extra special.

👏Congratulations to Warrior Head Ski Coach Robert Rhoades on receiving the prestigious Bill Miilu Lifetime Achievement Award from the Michigan High School Ski Coaches Association (MHSSCA)!⛷️

For more than 36 years, Coach Rhoades has made an extraordinary impact on Michigan high school alpine skiing, leading Brother Rice since 1990. His remarkable career includes four State Championships, 22 Regional Championships, numerous coaching honors, and induction into multiple athletic halls of fame.

Beyond the championships and accolades, Coach Rhoades has dedicated decades to developing student-athletes and advancing the sport he loves.

Congratulations, Coach Rhoades, on this well-deserved recognition and an incredible legacy of excellence! 🌟
