A new year, a new read, and lots in store!

The Marian Rice Collective kicked off the year with its first meeting, bringing students from Marian and Brother Rice together to start making plans for the year ahead.

The Collective gives students from both schools opportunities to spend time together through a variety of activities, including reading and discussing a new book each month. Meetings alternate between the two campuses.

Here’s to the first chapter of what promises to be a great year! 📚

Calling Future Warriors in grades 3–8: you are invited to a special admissions reception to meet other future classmates, then head into the stands to experience the Band of Brothers on game day. Brother Rice High School is proud to welcome another group of young Warriors into the CORE Leadership program. These student leaders have been chosen not simply for what they have accomplished, but for the character, commitment, and example they bring to our community.

CORE Leadership challenges our young men to grow as leaders while living out the values that define a Brother Rice Warrior: dedication, respect, humility, loyalty, and spirituality.

Through service, mentorship, and leading by example, these Warriors have an opportunity to make a lasting impact on those around them. Their leadership reminds us that true leadership isn't about having a title—it’s about serving others and putting our values into action.

We are excited to see what this year's CORE Leaders will accomplish. Lead with purpose. Serve with humility.

Marian and Brother Rice alumni, come home for All Alumni Homecoming Weekend, October 16-17! Reconnect with classmates and friends from across the moat, kick off the weekend with a Warrior tailgate and Friday night football, then gather on the Lahser Road campus Saturday morning for Family Fun Day.

It’s a weekend made for old friends, favorite traditions, and the kind of memories that remind us why some places never really stop feeling like home.

Our freshmen had a fantastic opportunity to step outside the classroom and build connections with their classmates during a day at the ropes course!

Through challenges that encouraged teamwork, communication, trust, and perseverance, our young Warriors had the chance to support one another, step outside their comfort zones, and strengthen the bonds that will carry them through their years at Brother Rice.

A great day of teamwork, challenge, and Warrior brotherhood!

We can't wait to see what this group accomplishes together over the next four years!

The Warrior Soccer Brotherhood is strong! ⚽

We recently welcomed more than 30 soccer alumni back to the field for our annual Alumni Game, bringing generations of Warriors together. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.

Over the last three days, students in Honors Chemistry have been putting basic engineering concepts into practice as they worked to create heating elements for an MRE (Meal, Ready-to-Eat).

Students utilized AI to help identify sources of error, predict expected outcomes, and explore alternative components for their systems. Today, their hard work paid off as they successfully generated enough heat to warm an MRE!

Join fellow Warriors Friday, August 28, in LTU's north end zone at our Alumni VIP Tent for refreshments, conversation, and a great night of football. The tent opens at 6:30 pm, with kickoff at 7:00 pm. All Brother Rice alumni are welcome, so grab a classmate, reconnect with old friends, and let's cheer on the Warriors together!

There’s something special about coming back under the Friday night lights, where the memories, traditions, and Brotherhood still feel like home. Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior.

Welcome to the Warrior Family, Mrs. Lanning!

As we start our second week of school, we are excited to welcome Stephanie Lanning to the Brother Rice community!

After 27 years of teaching English, Acting, and Public Speaking in the public school system, Mrs. Lanning begins a new chapter at Rice, where she will teach Speech and Broadcasting/Journalism.

A Midland, Michigan native, Mrs. Lanning attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree, Wayne State University for graduate work, and Eastern Michigan University for her teaching certification. She also grew up in the Catholic faith, which continues to be an important part of her life.

“I feel so blessed to be able to teach Speech and Broadcasting here at Rice,” Mrs. Lanning shared.

She is passionate about helping students find their voice and believes in working hard, treating everyone with kindness and respect, and understanding that our words matter. She is also a huge football and basketball fan and looks forward to supporting Warriors across all of our athletic programs.

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Lanning to Brother Rice! We are blessed to have you as part of the Warrior family!
