Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and hope.
As a Marian community, we recognize the importance of remembering our nation's history and reflecting on the values of human dignity, compassion, and respect for all. May we continue to learn from the past and strive to build a future rooted in understanding, unity, and hope.
Happy Juneteenth.
