During Deaf Awareness Week, May 4–10, 2026, Bloomfield Hills Schools celebrates the students, staff, and families who are part of our Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Our team ensures access to instruction through multiple communication modalities, including American Sign Language, spoken language, and assistive technology, while fostering independence and self-advocacy. As a Center Program for Oakland County, Bloomin' East, Eastover, North Hills, and BHHS are proud to call themselves "home" to the D/HH Center program.
