That's me in 2019, right after a magazine published a piece where I confidently predicted the future.

I said there would be 75 billion connected devices by 2025.

We ended up with about 21 billion.

I was off by 54 billion. In print. With my face next to it.

Here's what I've thought about since: I wasn't reckless. I was citing the same number everyone else was citing. Every analyst, every keynote, every panel. It felt less like a prediction and more like reading the room back to itself.

That's the trap. Being wrong alone feels dangerous, so we get wrong together and call it consensus.

The part I got right had nothing to do with the number. The technology did arrive. What I didn't account for was everything human: budgets that got deferred, teams that were already stretched, projects that got approved and then quietly never started.

I've stopped predicting adoption curves. I now assume any new technology will take about three times longer than the room believes, because the limiting factor is almost never the technology.

Seven years is long enough to see your own confidence graded.

What happens when the world has already decided who you’re going to become?

You fight like hell to prove them wrong.

Tiki Davis grew up surrounded by circumstances that could have easily become his identity.

Instead, he turned survival into fuel, setbacks into pivots, and being underestimated into an advantage.

Tomorrow, you’ll hear the story behind it.

Tiki Davis × Harder Than Life. Stay Tuned.

What if losing weight isn't the same thing as getting healthier?

Kelly's latest Harder Than Life episode takes on one of the most controversial conversations in health right now: Ozempic and GLP-1 weight loss.

His argument isn't simply "Ozempic is bad."

It's this:

If the shot gets the weight off but you don't build muscle, change your habits, or address what's underneath the weight gain… what happens when the shot is gone?

Kelly calls it "renting thinner."

The goal isn't just to weigh less.

It's to own the body you build.

Want to know one of the biggest communication mistakes couples make?

Trying to solve the problem before understanding the person.

You can have the perfect solution...

and still make someone feel completely unheard.

Sometimes the conversation doesn't need a solution.

It needs validation.

Listen first. Fix later.

👇 Do you think people want advice—or to feel understood first?

An unhealed person can bring old pain into a new relationship.

You can find someone amazing and still struggle to love them well.

You can be triggered by things that have nothing to do with the person in front of you.

You can mistake anxiety for chemistry.

And you can keep repeating the same relationship pattern while wondering why it keeps happening.

Dr. Elena's message is simple: "You can't rescue someone who refuses to do their own healing."

But when someone is willing to work on themselves, you can grow together.

“What does an unhealed person cost the person who loves them?”

A lot of pain.

Dr. Elena doesn't sugarcoat what happens when you enter a relationship without doing the work on yourself.

You can meet an incredible person and still be incapable of giving them the love they deserve.

Because you can't rescue someone who isn't willing to heal.

This conversation gets real. Tomorrow.

Nobody warns you that fixing your life has an invoice.

They tell you what you gain. They do not mention that some of the people around you were only there for the version of you that you are getting rid of, and that a few of them were paying you. Slide four is the actual ledger.

Who did you lose? One word.

Nobody ever got wealthy clipping coupons.

Here's the math nobody says out loud... cutting has a floor. You can only shave a life down to zero. Earning? No ceiling.

I see so many people pour every ounce of energy into saving $3 on groceries, optimizing subscriptions, meal-prepping to the penny. And look, that's discipline. I respect it. Budget tight, life tight.

But if 100% of your focus is defense, you just capped yourself.

Defense keeps what you have. Offense decides how much there is.

The game changes when you redirect even half that energy into a skill the market actually pays for. Learn to code. Master short-form content. Get good at sales. Build something people need.

Cutting expenses is finite. Building income is infinite.

You can't coupon your way to freedom, but you CAN skill your way there.

Keep the budget tight, yes. But put the real hours into earning more, not just spending less.

Which skill are you building right now to increase your earning ceiling?

If you're over 40... stop blaming yourself.

The old advice of "eat less and move more" isn't the whole story anymore.

Your hormones, muscle mass, sleep, stress, and blood sugar all play a role in how your body stores fat.

That's exactly what I break down in today's episode.

No gimmicks.

No magic supplements.

Just practical changes that actually work.

Most people have not been alone in years. They have just been unsupervised.

There is a difference between no one else being in the room and actually being with yourself, and almost everyone reading this has been doing the first one and calling it the second. Slide three will annoy you. Slide six takes five minutes.

It is the one you feel protective of. The one that needs a lot of explaining. One word, in the comments.
