📅 🎨 OUR PRESCHOOL CALENDAR FUNDRAISER IS HERE! 🎨 📅

We are so excited to kick off our annual Calendar Fundraiser!

What makes these calendars extra special? All artwork featured in our calendars is created by our very own preschool students! 🖍️ Each calendar is filled with creativity, imagination, and one-of-a-kind masterpieces from our little artists!

📅 Pre-Orders: October 14 – November 6, 2026
💲 Cost: $15 per calendar

❤️ All funds raised go directly toward supporting our students and our preschool program!

📢 Calendars will still be available for purchase after the pre-order deadline; however, pre-orders help us determine how many calendars to print to ensure we have enough available for everyone interested in purchasing one.

📝 HOW TO ORDER:
To place your pre-order, please contact Amanda Larson or reach out to us directly through our preschool's page. Orders can also be placed in person at St. John's Lutheran Preschool.

These calendars make wonderful keepsakes and thoughtful gifts for family and friends, all while supporting a great cause!

🍎 A Fun-Filled Fall Adventure at Connell’s Family Orchard! 🍏

On Wednesday, October 7th, our preschool students had such a wonderful time exploring Connell’s Family Orchard! From enjoying the fresh fall air to making memories with classmates, our field trip was filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement!

Field trips are such a special opportunity for our little learners to explore the world around them, experience new things, and strengthen friendships outside of the classroom! 🍁

A HUGE thank you to Connell’s Family Orchard for welcoming our preschool program and providing such a fun fall experience! We also want to thank all of our wonderful parent and family chaperones who joined us and helped make our adventure possible. We appreciate you!

📢 Early Childhood Screening Information 📢

The School District of Bloomer offers developmental screenings for three- and four-year-old children who reside within the district. Screenings are available upon parent and/or teacher request.

If you have questions about your child’s development or would like additional information about the screening process, please contact Alicia Sedlacek, Special Education Secretary, to learn more or schedule a screening.

We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity to support their child’s growth, development, and success!

🌎📬 HELP US MAKE OUR WORLD A LITTLE BIGGER!

Our preschool friends are learning that the world is a BIG place—and there are so many wonderful people and places to discover! ❤️

We recently read the book Who Are You? by Smriti Halls and Ali Pye, which reminds us:
“The world is so big, but we always know, there are new friends to meet wherever we go!”

To help bring this message to life, we’d love to fill our preschool classroom with mail from all over the United States and around the world! 🌎✉️

📬 Would you or someone you know be willing to send our preschool a postcard or letter? Tell us where you’re from, share something special about your community, or simply say hello to our preschool friends!
We would be thrilled to receive mail from nearby towns, across Wisconsin, from other states, or even from other countries! 🌍

Each piece of mail will give our children an opportunity to learn about a new place, see different stamps and postmarks, and discover that even though the world is big, we can make friends wherever we go. 💌

💛 Celebrating the Power of Community Partnerships! 💛

Following up from our last post, we are so grateful for the relationship between our preschool program and the G.E. Bleskacek Family Memorial Library-Bloomer!

Community partnerships like this play an important role in creating meaningful learning experiences for our youngest learners. Our visit to the library allowed our preschoolers to explore, discover, ask questions, and experience the joy of books and learning in a welcoming community space.

Building connections between our preschool and local community organizations helps children see that learning extends far beyond the classroom. These partnerships also allow us to work together to nurture a lifelong love of reading, learning, and being an active part of our community.

Again, a heartfelt thank you to the library for welcoming our preschoolers and for being such a valuable partner in supporting our children and families. We look forward to continuing to grow this wonderful partnership! 📚

A heartfelt thank you to the G.E. Bleskacek Family Memorial Library-Bloomer!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to bring our preschoolers to the library for a fun and meaningful visit. Our little learners had a wonderful time exploring, discovering, and enjoying all that the library has to offer our community 📖

Experiences like these help foster a love of books, learning, and our community from an early age. We truly appreciate the warm welcome and the time you shared with our preschool program.

📢 Save the date! 📢

As family letters are being prepared to be mailed early next week, save the date as we will be hosting our Open House for enrolled families on Monday, August 24th, and Tuesday, August 25th, from 4:30-6:30PM.

Remember, there are limited spaces available for the Tuesday/Thursday class still this year. If you are considering our program, you can stop by during this event to discuss registration and enrollment.

We are eagerly looking forward to meeting with all incoming and potential families in preparation for the 2026-2027 academic year!
