Welcome to PreK, where our “Little Wildcats” are excited about learning!! What a fun filled August we’ve had and this is just the beginning!! We’ve learned all about our five senses, dental hygiene and how to take care of our smile. We’ve practiced following the rules and routines of the classroom. We played a game using tissue to practice our walking feet and safe walking skills. We’ve learned about the first letter of our name. PreK is so much fun!!

Today, our hearts are heavy for our neighbors at Queen City ISD. The Bloomburg ISD family extends our deepest condolences following the heartbreaking loss of one of their students.

When tragedy touches one of our neighboring schools, it touches all of us. We stand alongside the Queen City students, staff, families, and community as they walk through this incredibly difficult time.

We are especially lifting up this student’s family, friends, classmates, and teachers in prayer. May they be surrounded by love, strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

During their first week of art classes, 2nd grade - 5th grade art classes played hide and seek - with a twist! Instead of hiding themselves, students had to color or paint a paper template and hide it somewhere in Mrs. Young’s art classroom.
