Hello! Tani, here- with a post that’s LONG overdue! I am very appreciative for the patience you e not even lent me- straight up given me- over the past couple of months!
As many know, Nourish Juicery and Kitchen has transitioned out of our shared space on the west end of town, July 1st. Sarah is embracing a new direction for Nourish. We are WHOLLY supporting her transition, and you will see this support at every turn!
Sarah and I began our journey together MANY moons ago in a space that FOR SURE was the very foundation of ‘operation: Juice’! From there, our family (and MANY others) supported the transitions that brought her to Springbrook Plaza!
I still cannot look at the shelve cut outs without seeing Kacie, my daughter, painting there or Joe helping to keep things moving toward opening day: the Saturday before that virus shut the world down!
For sure, this is incredibly bittersweet… And, I suppose, I actually have to admit it now that Sarah is having her ‘kitchen sale’ starting today.
Ok guys- upon receiving the news, I FOR SURE renewed my Occupational Therapy license (that was due six days prior), because I simply didn’t know… What I didn’t know.
A few weeks ago, Sarah and I met together with the owner of the Plaza, transitioning her lease agreement to Avodah.
We are staying right where we are- and I am very pleased with this! Our shared history… How I came to exist there and Sarah’s support while I was still a student… The work my husband put in and collaborated with friends on - I didn’t want to leave.
I am VERY pleased with how our meeting in transition went, and am looking forward to refining Avodah while also welcoming new occupants to our kitchen area who you will all love!!
Each of you have had a place in building Avodah. We are a community, and it is in and of this community I want to remain and will remain.
I am looking ahead to new forward footing. Clarity in those steps provided. Support of community businesses coming together!!
I’ll be transparent- there isn’t a thing about June and July that I could’ve anticipated. The only option is to forge forward, because we don’t fold.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
Thank you, so very much, for being here!
🧡
