BRADLEY SCOTT DAVIS, 54, of Bland, VA, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025, as result of an accident. He was born October 15, 1970 in Martinsville, VA, the son of Duane Calvin, Sr. & Betty Sue Newberry Davis.
Bradley was the life of the party. He enjoyed off road riding, hunting, camping with his friends and playing co****le. He enjoyed watching Virginia Tech football and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, until recently, when he couldn’t bring himself to watch them. He was also known to break out into song, very loudly, especially when listening to Bluegrass music with Granger.
Bradley was preceded in death by his father, Duane Calvin Davis, Sr. and his beloved grandmother, Beulah (“Granny”) Newberry.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Robin Davis; his children, John Wayne (“J.W.”), his loving dog, Hallie Davis (Chance James), Gunner Davis (Isabella Snow), Christopher & Kayla Viars and Brett & Karen Viars; his grandchildren, Koty, Bryton, Abigail, Neyland, Korbin, Savannah and Zayne; his mother, Betty Sue Newberry Davis; his step-mother-in-law, Irene Atwood; his siblings, Calvin & Paula Davis, Lisa & Kevin McGuire and Robert Davis; his stepsiblings, Ronnie & Crystal Atwood, Gina Atwood and Brandon Atwood; his very special nephew, Granger Davis; his nieces & nephews, Kaitlyn McGuire, Krystal & Josh Williams, Ravin Davis and Brooklyn Davis; his great nieces, Scarlett (“Skillet”) and Addilyn; and his aunt, many cousins and special friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Pastor Howard Finkle officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until service time, 7:00 P.M.
