Today is National Farmer’s Day—a time to for keeping our country fed and our rural communities strong.

Our sugar producers are among the most efficient and sustainable in the world. They are the reason behind all the treats that make life sweet. Thank you to all our sugarbeet and sugarcane farmers!

Texas farmers and ranchers can temporarily use dyed diesel on public roads following a statewide disaster declaration by Gov. Greg Abbott.

The declaration also allows fuel, agricultural and timber loads to operate at a gross weight of up to 95,000 pounds.

Texas Farm Bureau President Russell Boening said the changes will help reduce costs as farmers and ranchers face high fuel prices and other production expenses.
