Parents and Community Members,

Blanchester High School will be conducting a mock crash event to remind students about how making the right choice behind the wheel can protect themselves and others from dangerous driving behaviors.

The mock crash uses real crashed vehicles set up on school grounds and student participants to act out roles as crash victims. The real vehicles will be delivered for placement on Thursday, May 4th, and the placement will be in front of the middle school. Beginning Thursday morning, the parking spots in front of the middle school will be unavailable. There will markers indicating those spots.

The mock crash reenactment will occur on Friday, May 5th. We would like to thank the Blanchester Police Department, the Blanchester Fire Department, the State Highway Patrol and CareFlight for their hard work in helping coordinate and participating in this event to protect our students.

Honoring Our Veterans!

If a Veteran would like to participate in the Blanchester HS and MS Veteran Day Assembly please have them complete a survey. This survey was email to each HS and MS student via their school email. The survey will allow us to get an accurate number for those attending lunch and the correct sizes for each Veteran to receive a shirt. Veterans who do not have access to the survey can reach Mrs. McCarty at [email protected]. We need to have a final count by noon tomorrow for shirts. Thank you!

BHS Disney’s High School Musical will be April 1-2 and April 8-9 with shows starting at 7:00. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students/seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

BHS Academic Team earned a "W" verses Bethel Tate by the score of 66-43. The team is now 10-1 overall with their final competition being against New Richmond next week. Congratulations!
