It's that time of year again! We are gearing up for our annual Big Kahuna Fundraiser. Look for information to come home on Wednesday. As always, we appreciate your support!!

Dear Intermediate Families,

We had such a wonderful first day yesterday! 🎉 Our Intermediate staff is so excited about the new school year and feels truly grateful for the opportunity to work with your children. We are looking forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, growth, and lots of happy memories!

I wanted to share a few important reminders that will help our mornings and afternoons run as smoothly as possible—and hopefully make things a little easier for our families, too!

🌞 Morning Drop-Off
Our drop-off time begins at 7:40 a.m. Please plan to keep your child with you until that time, as there is no supervision available before 7:40 a.m. If you need care before then, Latchkey does offer morning daycare.

If the 3rd grade drop-off line is especially long, you may also use Harrison for drop-off. This can help alleviate traffic and keep things moving smoothly around the red light. We appreciate everyone's help with keeping our morning traffic flowing!

🚗 Afternoon Pick-Up
To pick up your child through the car line, you must have your yellow car tag hanging from your rearview mirror. This helps us ensure that every child is dismissed safely and to the correct adult.

If there is any change to how your child will be going home, please call the office to let us know. Otherwise, we will send your child home according to the transportation information provided on your paperwork.

Please make any transportation-change calls before 2:00 p.m. This gives us enough time to communicate the change and make sure dismissal goes smoothly.

🏫 Students Walking to the Middle School
Students who are walking to the Middle School to meet siblings should meet them on the east side of the gym, underneath the awning. For safety reasons, students are not permitted to go anywhere else on the Middle School campus.

Thank you so much for your patience, cooperation, and partnership as we get this new school year underway. We know the first few days can take a little extra time as everyone gets familiar with routines, and we truly appreciate your help in making dismissal and drop-off safe and efficient for everyone.

We are so excited for the year ahead and feel incredibly lucky to have such wonderful students and families. Thank you for helping us make this a great year! 💙

Due to weather, BIS Field Day has been moved to Tuesday, May 12th.

Today we held our 5th Grade Awards Ceremony. We celebrated the academic and character achievements of 52 students. Congratulations to all of these students for their hard work, dedication, and strong character throughout the school year!

LOST AND FOUND - any coats or hoodies not claimed by next Wednesday, the 13th will be donated.

YEARBOOKS - will be passed out on the last day of school. We have 15 extra yearbooks for sale - $20 each - first come first serve!

FIELD DAY - Monday, May 11th - Please make sure your child wears appropriate shoes for this day! Also, send a bottle of water with your child.
