Middle school Solo Ensemble was a success! All 8 students who performed got medals!

Congratulations to all these awesome middle schoolers.

It is so incredibly cool that they committed to this at a young age! I am very proud of you all! Keep up the great work! Can’t wait to see you continue to grow!

THANK YOU! Once I have a completed list, more band thank you’s will be coming! We are actually still receiving some donations! Thank you all so much! Happy Thanksgiving! Perfect timing! :)

Our community showed up for us, and we are still in awe at the amount of support! From the watch parties, to neighboring schools wishing us luck, and to all of the people who traveled over FIVE hours to watch our Mustangs - we are speechless! We were talking about how amazing it was to see the crowd in Traverse City, and said there was no way that everyone would make the long drive to Marquette, but we were wrong! We don't have a final count on attendance, but we are fairly certain that even MORE people traveled to Marquette!

Thank you to everyone who donated over the course of the last few weeks to provide meals, busing, practice fields, hotels, and more. There was so much that went into planning, and the support certainly made it much easier!

Here is one angle of our halftime performance!

These students have never played inside of a dome before so it was a completely new listening environment for them! They did a fantastic job adjusting/listening/watching in the first song to get used to how it sounded out there!

I am so proud of their hardwork this season! I set the bar high for them this year because I knew they could reach it! The bar now raises! I can’t wait to see them continue growing!

State championships! What an unforgettable opportunity for the Montabella High School Band!

Win or Lose, they performed and supported our school in the stands, and performed 5 songs at halftime!

They sounded amazing in the Superior Dome!

Such a special trip! We had a blast on the bus ride up and down, and an awesome time at our hotel! Our students stepped up and represented our school with pride! A lot of new leaders were created on this trip!

The community support has been absolutely incredible! Thank you all so much! Many thank you’s, and more posts to come! We are honored to be apart of a community who supports the band!

It was a pleasure to be able to take the band here, in only my first few months of teaching!

The band has arrived in Marquette and are in for the night at our hotel!

We had SO MANY Montabella cars drive pass the bus and honk and cheer for us. It was such a lovely drive! I couldn’t believe the amount of cars. THANK YOU ALL!!!

WOW! I am blown away! We met our goal in just a day!

Thank you to our amazing community who gave money to help send the band to Marquette! You are are truly wonderful!

If you would like to still donate, the money will go towards instruments, instrument repair, sheet music, reeds, mallets/sticks, uniform care like dry cleaning, and more!
