Today our community will be voting on a school bond proposal. This proposal is designed to improve upon technology, safety, classrooms and athletic facilities in our district.
Some of these facilities have served our students well for almost 70 years. Our school system and its needs have changed dramatically over this period of time. A YES vote will ensure that the children of Blanchard will continue to excel both academically and athletically in a safe environment.
A similar proposal failed by a margin of 42 votes less than a year ago. Please make time to go vote today because your vote does matter.

Per Blanchard administration more than 70% of Blanchard students are associated with an extra curricular activity at some point in their high school career.
Blanchard teachers and coaches are passionate about their students and their performance in the classroom.

Will you be voting YES on Tuesday for the students of Blanchard or NO because of selected misinformation about education from the “Best of Blanchard” page?

QUESTION-Will my rent increase as a result of this bond passing?
ANSWER-This bond has been thoughtfully designed to meet our schools' needs without raising property taxes. The bond will enhance our educational facilities, boost safety and technology, upgrade extracurricular spaces and support future growth—all for the success of our students.

It's important to know that previous bonds are being paid off as originally planned, and this new bond won't add any extra tax burden. Because this bond doesn't increase property taxes, any significant rent increases being linked to it are not caused by the bond. Multiple landlords we have spoken to have stated they will not raise rent prices with passage of bond issue.

The Jody Miller Performing Arts Center is the home to one of the greatest band programs in the state of Oklahoma.
This bond proposal would provide the Lion Pride with new band instruments to ensure the BHS students continue their musical success.

Blanchard takes great pride in the mental growth and engagement of their students. Extracurricular Activities are a proven factor for students to excel in the classroom.
At Blanchard High School, 70% of students participate in a range of school activities including all OSSAA Sports, Band, Choir, FFA, Robotics, Leadership, FCCLA, and E-Sports.
The Blanchard community plans to set the standard on August 27th.
