The BMS Rocks are going out tomorrow! Look for them in neighborhoods and downtown Blanchard. After finding one, please tag it. As I’m sure you are aware, our Blanchard Middle School Art/STUCO kids and I began building floats for the veterans to ride on in their parade three years ago. Prior to this, they had never had a float. We found this unacceptable and did something about it.

Each year we try and come up with a unique collaborative art piece to showcase on the float. This year I would love to do some recycled art. I am needing plastic bottle lids.

The following image is the inspiration behind my idea.

These are the colors we are needing the most of. I will put donation boxes at the front waiting area of the Blanchard Middle School. We are needing these as quickly as possible since the parade is on November 9th. Please help us make this happen. I would love to have all donations by October 25th for students to make the artwork for two weeks prior to the parade.

As always, thank you for your help in making all this happen.

As many of you know I’m BMS STUCO Sponsor. This year for Our HOOPIN Week Raffle we are selling tickets to win the new Meta Quest 3 Mixed Reality Headset.

All money made from HOOPIN Week and the raffle will got toward the purchase of Christmas presents for BMS Students in need.

BMS Rocks will be hiding Halloween/Fall Rocks around the community starting Monday evening.

Here are some works in progress. We will post more pics Monday when we finish them up.

Trick or Treat. If you find one snap a pic with it and tag it in BMS Rocks. We check the page daily and the students enjoy seeing when their rocks are found.
