Classmates were now scheduled for April 25 at the Connolly pavilion number 150 Meeks Park (same place as last year) for our annual class of 1974 picnic! It starts at 11 and runs until we are finished.

The class will provide barbecue sandwiches & silverware packs but we encourage everyone to bring a side to share!! bring your own drinks and chairs if you don’t want to sit at the pavilion tables.

As usual, it’s also time for us to seek monetary donations for our class flower fund. Checks should be mailed to me, ( my address below) Lyn George Harbin or Marilyn Farrell

Our 2026 class picnic will be Saturday, April 25 at 11 AM -UNTIL & will be at #150, Conley Pavilion in Meeks Park (SAME PAVILION AS LAST YEAR)

We are putting together our lunch menu and we will be asking for cash donations as well as any sides that you want to bring. Below is a list we have started! Please read and also we need RSVPs as well! Can’t wait to see you all 🥰

We are gearing up for our 1st annual (that I know of) picnic!

April 19,2025 MEEKS PARK, Conley pavilion, NOON!

Class is providing fried chicken, ham, plates, silverware, & napkins.

YOU should bring your cooler of ice & drinks for yourself BUT, also bring a casserole or food item that can be shared with the class. ❤️

We NEED TO KNOW IF YOU’RE COMING & WHAT YOU WILL BRING! Here’s what we have so far:
2 large Mac & Cheese, 2 things of baked beans, 1 hash brown casserole, 1 coleslaw, 1 pasta salad, 1 potato salad, fresh pork rinds, & some homemade bread & a couple of cakes snd 1 other dessert

We have about 40 people confirmed so far so we NEED to hear from you all as to what you’re bringing!!

Here’s some ideas of food to bring:
Deviled eggs, broccoli or squash casserole, fried potatoes, or go to Pinterest for more ideas!

Hey everybody, REMEMBER… we are going to have a class reunion meeting for anyone who wants to attend August 13 @ 11 Am @ pavilion number 1 at Meeks Park.

That’s the first pavilion on the left by the skate park, as you come into Meeks Park.

Bring your own lunch and drink if you’d like. There are bathrooms at that pavilion. we will be discussing plans on setting up an annual get together of our class along with other items of discussion

Hopefully everybody will be there. We’d love to see you and of course we welcome your participation in our planning. That’s what made Our reunion such a great time… the help of every person that planned!

It breaks my heart to announce this but yesterday we lost Elizabeth Butt Perry, classmate and friend.

As you know, Jane and Liz suffered the ravages of diabetes all of their lives and we lost Jane several years ago. They struggled they fought, they ran the race.. and yesterday they were reunited in the presence of the Lord.

Let’s pray for Liz’s family, Steve and her children especially. Class of 74 will send flowers @ Here are her arrangements:

Tuesday, August 13, @ 11 AM the Class of 74 will be meeting at Meeks Park pavilion #1 (first 1 on the Left by the skate park) to start the planning for our next YEARLY reunion!!

As time & age creeps up on us we thought it would be fun to meet once a year & it to be more casual so… we are ready to start planning!

If you want to come add to the group, we’d love you too! Bring your lunch & drink, if you wish, & let’s get together to start the ball rolling!
