Congratulations to our softball, football, cheerleading, and cross-country student-athletes on their wins yesterday! Our Cross Country team excelled yesterday at the Jaguar Jungle Run in Murphy. Our top three female finishers were Eliza Colwell, Louanna Hall, and Anna Knox. Our top three male racers were Miles Sturgeon, Dylan Wimpey Fletes, and Ari Devereaux Libross. We had many personal best times!

It was a great day for UCMS sports yesterday, both football and softball had a win. In addition, cross country boys placed 2nd overall with Miles Sturgeon first place overall, cross country girls placed 5th overall with Eliza Colwell in the top ten! Way to go Panthers!

Great things are happening at UCMS - What a fun afternoon of Science !!! Students explored how shape affects whether something floats or sinks. Using the same amount of clay, we made a ball and a bowl. The clay ball sank, while the clay bowl floated. Students learned that changing an object's shape can affect whether it floats or sinks. We love our students and celebrating learning with them!
