A new WrenchWay survey of 649 technicians who responded to an online survey found these are the five biggest factors when they consider an employer: Proper equipment in the shop (98%), paid vacation (93%), paid training (91%), retirement fund (87%), and well-documented career path (81%).

Trade schools are hot, with many students deciding to skip the debt and time associated with getting a two- or four-year degree. Now even the students are helping spread the word on this important option. We operate the largest tech school for vehicle and heavy equipment technicians in the country. In many cases, qualified students can attend tuition-free if they agree to work for their matched employer for two years.
