🎃Our Annual Harvest Festival is just around the corner, happening on Friday, October 23rd, and we couldn't be more excited! 🍂

🧡Jointly sponsored by the Blaine Elementary PTO and Blaine Primary PTO’s the event promises an unforgettable evening filled with autumn fun, laughter, and community spirit. However, we need your help to make it a success! We are looking for volunteers to assist with setting up, serving food, running games, and cleaning up. 🎯At the Primary School, you can enjoy a variety of Free games, cup cake walk, and capture memories at the photo booth. 📸

🎟️ Over at the Elementary School Gym and covered area, you'll find the raffle, swag sales, and Bingo. If you get hungry, head to the Elementary School Cafeteria for a bite to eat at affordable prices.🌭

Everyone is welcome to dress up in their favorite character but please no scary costumes and per School policy no masks.

👋 We would like to invite you to October's PTO Meeting on Tuesday, October 13th. This meeting will at 4:15 p.m. in the Blaine Elementary School Cafeteria. Please enter through the front entrance of the school & we will have someone there to greet you and point you in the right directions. We hope you can join us. We have some key items to discuss during this meeting and would love to have you come and be a part of our community.

🔔Our first priority is to address the vacant board positions. We currently have openings for a Treasurer and a Volunteer Coordinator. It is crucial for us to fill these roles as soon as possible, as our PTO cannot function effectively without them. At present, some board members are taking on dual responsibilities, which is unsustainable given our busy schedules. We urgently need two committed individuals to step up and join our team. Rest assured, we are ready to provide all the necessary training and support to help you succeed in these roles. By working together as a team, alongside our dedicated volunteers, we can lighten the load for everyone. If you are interested in making a difference, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Remember, many hands make light work, and your contribution will be greatly appreciated.

🗳️The other major discussion will be voting on our monthly meeting dates & time. We will be voting on if we continue to meet at the 4:15 time or move it to a later time. Anyone that has attended a BES PTO meeting is a MEMBER and can VOTE.

📣Joining us during our meeting will be Deputy Green to discuss getting a school resource officer for the district. Also, on the agenda will be going over our budget and voting to approve it. We also have events coming up to discuss; Harvest Festival, Swag Sales, and much more! 💻We are still working out technical issues with gaining access to a hybrid meeting. We will keep you posted on if we are able to offer a virtual option to attend the meeting. Thank you for your patience on this matter.

Members are invited to our group communication in WhatsApp where we plan, organize & make decisions in between meetings. There is a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that happens here & we would love to have you be a part of it. Please contact us via email stating you would like to join.

We are working on forming committees. These are for yearbooks, fundraising, planning events, and etc. These groups can meet at their own convenience. We are looking for help with new fundraising ideas & new family activities/events for this school year. We would love to see what you might come up with! These committees are great for those who cannot attend monthly meetings but would like to still be involved.

We have great news! 🎉 Our Borderite Dash, raised over $27,000, this is a testament to the dedication and generosity of everyone involved. It's wonderful to hear that the event exceeded expectations to the point of needing additional prizes. 🔔Therefore we will deliver prizes to the school as soon as they arrive. Thank you for your patience!
