Our next staff spotlight is on Mrs. Haley Lorg!

Hi! I’m Haley Lorg, I am 23 years old and work as a teacher’s aide in the Head Start classroom! I have been married to my husband, Landon Lorg, for 3 1/2 years. We have three dogs, who are a big part of our family. In my free time I love to spending time with my family, making memories, and enjoying the little things in life. I am easy going, caring , and always happy to meet new people!

Our next staff spotlight is on Mrs. Janet Moreno- Miramontes!

Hello, my name is Janet Moreno Miramontes . I’m the mother of three wonderful kids, including my new born baby girl . Outside of work, I love to spend time with my kids and husband. I am one of the early Head start teachers here at Blackwell Early Head Start. I have been an Early Head Start teacher for 7 years. I actually started working in there because one of my children was attending Head start and it was really hard for him to be away from me for the full day. I decided to stay in the classroom for a little bit every morning to help him in this transition, and one of the Head start teachers told me that I would do great as a teacher! The classroom l kids loved to talk to me every day and I said I will give it a try. I did and I am so thankful that I made that choice! I could not be more grateful for the children, families, and coworkers I have! Seeing your children growing in the classroom is one of the most beautiful things that get to experience every day! Watching them meet every milestone, every step, makes my heart so happy! I really appreciate every parent that has trusted me for taking care of your children, they all will have special spot in my heart. I will always love those babies, just the way I love my own.

Our Head Start class has completed their first full week of school! We have gotten the chance to build relationships with our peers, explore art areas, work in multiple centers, even bringing indoor play outdoors, and lots of outside/water play!
Play is so important for a child’s development, so we love utilizing every opportunity possible for our kiddos to learn through play.
We hope our kiddos have the best year this next year❤️💙🤍

Our next Staff spotlight is on Danielle Lowe!
Hello! My name is Danielle Lowe, and I am a proud wife and mom to two wonderful boys. My passion for early childhood education began when my sons attended Head Start. This inspired me to make a difference in the lives of young children. I started my career as a Multi-Purpose Aide and have been an Early Head Start teacher for several years. I recently earned my Master Teacher Credential (MoC) and I am currently working toward my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I truly love what I do and feel grateful to help children learn, grow, and thrive every day.

Our next Staff Spotlight is Mrs. Cassandra Gutierrez!

Hi everyone! I’m Cassandra Gutierrez! Aka Cassie. Outside of work I love spending time with my husband Cesar and our 5 kids. Watching them do all of their extracurricular activities and helping guide them and navigate through life. It’s not always easy but it is one of my biggest blessings.

I have been an Early Head Start teacher in Blackwell for 7 years. I have been a part of the Head Start community for 15 years. Starting back when I enrolled my oldest daughter as an infant. Then I became a substitute teacher while she was in the program. Over the years I had 3 more of my kids in the program. I was the cook aide before I became a teacher. I absolutely love where I’m at and what I’m doing! Being able to provide a loving and safe environment for these kids to grow and learn has been so rewarding for me! I love them so much! Even on their hard days. I am so thankful to be a part of the Head Start family 💜

Hello, my name is Emalee Newman, and I am one of the early Head start teachers here at Blackwell Head Start and early Head start. I have been in Early Childhood Education for three years. I have learned so much as a teacher and I could not be more grateful for the children, families, and the coworkers I have interacted with throughout the years. Outside of work I enjoy hanging out with my dog or spending time with family.
