PCMS 8th grade football is hosting it's regular-season opener today.

The PCHS boys' golf team took center stage at the August Pierce County BOE meeting, in recognition of winning the 2026 Class AA state title. This marked the fifth state boy's golf title in PCHS history (1988,1989, 2009, 2017, 2026) and sixth overall boy's state crown in county history (1979 Blackshear High).

Pierce County Schools ranked above the state average in 11 of 12 categories as listed by the 2026 Milestone EOC (winter & Spring) report released today.

Pierce County also ranked 1st in nine of those categories and 2nd in the other two, among the eight counties in Okefenokee RESA.
