Virginia Tech Hispanic & Latinx Faculty & Staff Caucus

El Centro is now accepting nominations for the Antonio Fernandez Outstanding Student Award.

This award recognizes each year one student for their significant contributions and outstanding service to the mission of El Centro and the Virginia Tech Latinx community.
The award represents an ongoing tradition from El Centro and the Hispanic/Latinx Faculty and Staff Caucus.

Eligibility: Graduating students (undergraduate or graduate) whose service or outreach activities have impacted the work of El Centro and the Virginia Tech Latinx community.

Basis for judging: Contributions, service, dedication and effort in supporting El Centro’s mission. The recognized student should have demonstrated their commitment to the Hispanic/Latinx community at Virginia Tech.

Selection committee: Carlos Evia, Veronica Montes, Kelby Henriquez, Rene Hernandez
