Popsicles with the Principal & Books to Go!

Join us on Tuesday, July 14, anytime between 4:00–6:00pm for a fun summer stop-by event!

Our reading team will have a great selection of free books for children to choose from and take home! Stop by to say hello to Mrs. Cabler and some of our PFES staff, enjoy a popsicle, and let your child pick out a book to enjoy all summer long. It's a fun opportunity to reconnect, encourage summer reading, and spend time with our school community!

We will be hosting a registration event on Wednesday, July 8, from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. If you need assistance completing your child’s registration for the 2026–2027 school year, please stop by the PFES office during this time.

Spanish interpretation is available by appointment.

Reminder: Registration must be complete before teacher assignment letters can be distributed.

A reminder for families that MCPS summer nutrition programs will be available throughout June, July, and early August. ☀️

Children 18 years old and younger can receive free breakfast and lunch at select school locations, and SUN Meal Kits will be available weekly at Shawsville Middle School, Belview Elementary School, and Belmont Christian Church beginning in late June.

Meal kit pickup times, meal schedules, and additional program details are available at https://www.fns.usda.gov/sfsp/summer-food-service-program.
