The Friends of Virginia Tech Libraries support the mission and the employee's of the library. We started this group in December of 2014.
In the spring of 2011 the Virginia Tech University Libraries welcomed a new dean, Tyler Walters. There had not been an active Friends group in several years, yet people who love libraries continued to offer their volunteer time and talents. This page will serve as a platform of communication for Friends to collaborate, share ideas and offer volunteer service. If you are trying to get people together for your next library project, feel free to start here, make a new friend and live Ut Prosim!

Setting up and buttering up on Thursday! We served 1880 grilled cheeses on Thursday and 1721 on Friday. I can't wait to see what Sunday and Monday bring (hopefully not rain).

It's my bi-annual May and December marathon again, and warm cheesy feelings are filling the Virginia Tech Libraries as we prepare to pamper some Hokies during finals week, at night, with FREE GRILLED CHEESES!
