Phase I of the GTA workshop begins this morning in the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech with nearly 450 students participating in Blacksburg and close to 150 online. Students were greeted with a rainbow over the Center -- surely a sign for great things to come!

For American Farmland Trust (AFT), the work provided an objective way to move from a newly released online resource to action in communities facing growing pressure from low-density development, data centers, solar energy projects, and other competing uses for rural land."
