Hello/Bonjour/GutenTag!!
It's been a long time since my last post!
I've been living in France since January 2019! Now fast forward to Spring of 2022! How time flies! I haven't had a lot of free time since we relocated back to France! Very busy and still settling in! A lot has happened since our return to La France!

Bonjour tout le monde!
Pardon my long absence from posting on my site.
The last couple of years have brought many changes to our lives and therefore to my foreign language teaching and tutoring business.
Long story short: my French husband was recently transferred back to France. We made the decision, as empty nesters, to sell our house in Virginia and make the big international move to France at the beginning of 2019. It's been a lot of work and stress, but we are finally somewhat settled here, near the beautiful and vibrant city of Angers.
And I have great news with regards to my passion for teaching and tutoring children foreign languages!
I have been hired to join the Kids&Us school of English in Angers! A week from now, I will help teach at a 5-day "Funweek" summer camp!
Then, after some training days, I will be ready for "la rentrée" and thereby set to begin my new adventure as an English teacher to French children of various ages in an after school extra curricular program!
I can't wait to get back to working with kids and helping them to have a fun and positive experience while learning a foreign language!
I really miss you all in Blacksburg, especially my beloved students in French and German!
However, with Kids&Us I hope to continue to spread and share my love and passion of teaching foreign languages to children!
All the best wishes to my former students and families! Please don't hesitate to contact me for continued support for your children, especially for those needing tutoring for high school French and German classes !
If I can be of any assistance. then by all means let's give it a try!

Bonjour tout le monde! I am back to work and looking forward to teaching French to children of all ages in Blacksburg! This is my PASSION: teaching French language and culture in a FUN setting.

I am offering 4 different youth French classes at the YMCA at Virginia Tech Open University this semester:

- French for Preschoolers through 2nd grade
- French for 3rd-5th graders
- French for 6th-8th graders
- French for Homeschoolers

Classes begin the week of September 19th!

Please go to www.vtymca.org to check out the Open University Fall 2016 Course Catalog. This semester you will notice that we have given parents an opportunity to vote for their preferred days & meeting times!

Bonjour to my FB followers! As you may have noticed, things have been very quiet on this page. I wanted to let you all know that I have taken some time off from teaching, in order to care for my terminally ill father on the west coast. It is a difficult and sad time for all concerned, but I am staying strong and will do all that I can for my dear father during this sad end of life phase. Thank you for your understanding! I very much look forward to teaching again; I just do not know when that will be. A bientôt! Amicalement, Pamela

French and German Instruction and Tutoring in Blacksburg Virginia for children and adults. Classes, private tutoring, and personalized instruction for all ages.

The following youth French classes will be offered at the Blacksburg YMCA this fall. These classes will be 12-week sessions. Class fee is $150. Please call the Open U office at 540.961.YMCA (9622) for registration or you can sign up in person at the Y office at 1000 N. Main Street, located next to the YMCA Thrift Store:

- French for Preschoolers:
Thursdays from 4-5 pm.
Classes start September 4th, 2014.

- French for Homeschoolers:
Wednesdays from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Classes start September 3rd, 2014

- Continuing French for 6th-8th Graders:
Mondays from 3:45-4:45 pm.
Classes start September 8th, 2014.

Please note there will be no classes the week of September 29th and the week of Thanksgiving.

Well, here we are at the end of July 2014!

I totally dropped the ball and neglected to get this page up and going (even though I have been continually teaching and tutoring all this time!)

Following is information for parents in Blacksburg and the NRV interested in enrolling their children in French classes at the VT Ymca Open University for the Fall of 2014:

I will be offering:
- a French for Preschoolers class,
- a French for Homeschoolers class
- a Continuing French class for 6th-7th graders.

These classes meet once a week for 12 weeks.
They will begin in September (dates/days/times TBD).
Classes are held in the same building as the YMCA Thrift Store, located on North Main Street in Blacksburg.

I will be present at the YMCA booth at Blacksburg's Steppin' Out street fair this year (Aug.1st-2nd) and hope to talk with parents and answer any questions they have regarding French class opportunities for their children.

Private tutoring is also available, especially for high schoolers who may be struggling in their public school French or German classes.

Other classes can also be created, if there is a demand for them.
