Not long ago, Michael Walker was taking Intermediate Financial Accounting. As a graduate student pursuing his M.S. in Accounting & Information Systems - Virginia Tech, he was known to help other Hokies succeed in the same course through peer mentoring and academic support.
By supporting graduate students who serve as peer mentors, Pamplin is creating opportunities for students to learn from those who have recently walked in their shoes. The result is a stronger learning experience for everyone involved.
Michael's experience is one example of the impact made possible through a partnership with Forvis Mazars, which provides scholarship support for graduate students while helping expand academic support for undergraduates.
We're grateful to Forvis Mazars for investing in student success and helping create opportunities that benefit Hokies at every stage of their academic journey.
