Each undergraduate student at the University is provided information and assistance,

which aids the individual student in making responsible academic and career decisions. Each advisor is provided the necessary tools to respond to student needs and the opportunity to be recognized and rewarded for exemplary advising. Virginia Tech, in support of this philosophy will provide student focused advising and assist students in developing skills that lead them to take active responsibility for the advising process.

If the heat wave hasn't melted your planner yet, here's your July reminders! ☀️

July brings important deadlines for all three summer sessions, so be sure you know which session you're enrolled in. Summer Session 1 (S1), Summer Session 2 (S2), and Summer Session 3 (S3) each have different academic deadlines.

This month's reminders include:
✔️ Independence Day observed (University offices closed)
✔️ Last day of classes and final exams for S1
✔️ S2 classes begin
✔️ Add, web drop, withdrawal, grade option, and resignation deadlines

Be sure to review the academic calendar for the deadlines that apply to your specific summer session so you don't miss an important date!
