Pamplin Business Leadership Minor

Pamplin Business Leadership Minor An 18-credit minor open to all Virginia Tech undergraduate students interested in developing their leadership skills.

We believe that leadership is not confined to those in authoritative positions. Leaders are all who inspire others, serve others, build commitments, create opportunities, and work toward better organizations and a better society. We believe that all individuals, in any organization and context, have leadership potential. This minor will help students to identify and nurture their own leadership sk

ills and principles. The minor provides a multi-disciplinary, experiential education in the history, values, skills and theory of leadership. It gives students an opportunity to tailor their leadership education and experience to their personal and career needs. Part of the course work is a leadership/service activity which enables students to explore different avenues of interest. The work is individualized and enables students to incorporate leadership skills into various areas of campus and community life.

Thanks to the new likes we got for the page! For the people in Dr. Smith's class, the extra credit assignement is open. Post a picture from your LEP project with a caption, a brief description of your LEP project and what leadership skills you got out of it, and/or something about the Leadership Minor and how it has/will help you become a better leader. 1 point per post. Spread the word to your friends about the page. If the page reaches 100 likes by April 26, everyone gets 1 extra point on the LEP!
