The purpose of this club is to promote fellowship among students interested in the poultry industry. Meet Poultry Club Secretary Jordan Rhodes🐔

Jordan is a freshman majoring in Biochemistry here at VT. She just joined the club this fall because she hopes to learn more about poultry! Jordan’s fun fact is that she has a German Shepard mix named Raven! We are so excited to have her as an officer!

Meet Poultry Club Treasurer, Varun Sathyanarayanan! 🐔

Varun is a junior majoring in Animal and Poultry Science here at VT. He joined the club in the fall of 2020 because it presented good opportunities and put his foot in the door of the poultry industry. Varun’s favorite activities for Poultry Club include the annual pumpkin carving event and setting up for the community Easter egg hunt. Varun is also the treasurer of the Chicken & Waffles Club, which he urges you to attend on Friday mornings!

Meet Poultry Club Vice President, Ema Hollinger! 🐔

Ema is a sophomore majoring in Animal and Poultry Science here at VT. Ema joined the club in the fall of 2021 because of her love of poultry and interest in the industry. She wanted to learn more about poultry and expand her knowledge in the subject! Ema’s favorite activity for Poultry Club is the annual turkey processing event, when the club processes turkeys from start to finish and sells them to the community.

Meet Poultry Club President, Chase Hite! 🐔

Chase is a senior majoring in Community Economic Development here at VT. Chase joined the club in the fall of 2019 because he’s always loved poultry of all kinds. He wanted to learn more and engage in fun activities involving poultry. His favorite activity for Poultry Club is the first meeting of each year because he gets to see new faces and “meet some great people interested in poultry”.
