Join the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and Virginia Creeper Trail historians to discuss the history of the Virginia Creeper, on Friday, June 5th, at 5:30pm at the Damascus Trail Center.

Come and learn more about "The Virginia Creeper Trail: Then & Now" with Ed Morgan, Virginia Creeper Trail historian, former mayor of Abingdon, and coordinator of the College for Older Adults, and Richard Smith, local volunteer and documentarian of the Creeper’s destruction and rebuilding.

If you saw our spotlight last year, you might remember Carter Roberts ’25. As a student researcher with the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT), Roberts helped build a massive, immersive audio-video experience for the National D-Day Memorial. Now a graduate, Roberts and the Hokie team are returning to Bedford this weekend to debut a brand-new expansion of the project.
