Hey Alumni!! It is that time of year again for Beta Nu’s Annual Sincerely Yours!! We have been working super hard and raised over 118,000$ last year, and hope to raise even more this year. Another amazing opportunity our chapter has this year is to actually be abe to visit the hospital! It will be so awesome for 60 of our sisters to see where the money we work so hard to raise goes towards. With that being said we would love all of your help in raising a record breaking amount for St Jude! Fill out this quick survey below so that a current Beta Nu sister can send you information on how to help us, help St Jude!!

Help Virginia Tech Tri Delta create its first ever scholarship! This fall, we began working towards our goal of creating an endowed scholarship in honor of a 2008 alumna, Dorothy Henggeler, who recently passed away from brain cancer. Dott was an incredible sister in our chapter, both as a collegiate and alumna member and we can think of no better way to honor her membership than to create a lasting scholarship that will help members for years to come.

Her life was nothing short of a miracle and her legacy will live on through Tri Delta, Virginia Tech, Baltimore, Ireland, and the Rose of Tralee. Our hope with this scholarship fund is to create a lasting legacy of Dorothy through one of her most...

Dear Beta Nu alumni,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Libby Jones, the daughter of Beta Nu alum Barbara Wasserman Jones and the niece of Beta Nu alum Callie Jones, has passed away from leukemia at the age of three. Details regarding services are forthcoming, but this evening all of us will be lighting a candle in Libby's honor and posting photos of the candles to Barb's page with the hashtag . As Barb's sisters, we are also developing plans for supporting the Jones/Wasserman family in other ways over the coming months. We appreciate all of your support and well wishes for this wonderful family during this most horrible of times. Kim Munson Welch is a sister who lives close to the family and is available to share information and serve as a point of contact for sisters living far away that may want to do something for the family. We will do our best to keep everyone updated through Facebook. Thank you so much for your support, and don't forget to this evening.

Hello Alumnae!
In 6 very short days from now, Beta Nu will be holding our annual Sincerely Yours letter writing campaign.
We would love to have some alumnae addresses (or even your friends/ neighbors who would possibly donate to our amazing philanthropy) to help us break $100,000 this year!
Last year, from our chapter alone, this evening helped us raise $79,000 for St. Jude.
Please fill out this survey with your addresses- it is beyond appreciated!

Fat Talk Free Pledge 10/28/2013

Happy Monday Everyone!

This week we are celebrating Fat Talk Free Week.

Fat Talk Free Week is an international, 5-day body activism campaign to draw attention to body image issues and damaging impact of the 'thin ideal' on women in society. This annual public awareness effort was born from Tri Delta's award-winning body image education and eating disorders prevention program, Reflections. The purpose of this week is to promote healthy body image, change the way we think about our bodies, and educate others about the damage that the "thin ideal" can cause.

Take the Pledge to be Fat Talk Free at http://bi3d.tridelta.org/Pledge

Each and everyone of you are beautiful Delta Women!!!
